WordPress Website Management FAQs
We focus on real human support and proactive management. When you have a question, you email a real person who knows your website and business. We don't wait for problems to happen—we monitor and maintain continuously so issues are prevented rather than fixed after they cause problems.
We're here to help! We'll have a conversation about your business goals and current challenges to recommend the approach that makes the most sense for your situation and budget. You can also start with a lower package and upgrade as your needs grow.
No problem — we can migrate your site to our web host. We do not manage websites that we are not hosting.
We host our sites on Kinsta.
Absolutely! We work with WordPress websites regardless of who built them originally. We'll perform a comprehensive plugin audit during onboarding to understand your current setup and identify any issues or opportunities.
All our packages include malware scanning and removal. If your site does get compromised, we'll clean it up, secure it, and restore it from our daily backups if necessary. Our proactive security measures make this extremely unlikely, but we're prepared to handle it quickly if it happens.
Absolutely. We’ll help you transition smoothly if your needs change.
Yes, especially for agencies or clients with multiple sites. Let’s talk.
SEO is a long-term strategy, but you'll typically start seeing improvements in technical performance within the first month. Search ranking improvements usually begin showing within 3-6 months, with more significant results after 6-12 months of consistent optimization.
Major redesigns, full content rewrites, or complex custom development are outside of the monthly plans — but we can help with those, too.
WordPress Website Design & Build FAQs
The time it takes to produce a website depends on the size and complexity of your site and the quality of content that you have prepared. We have a very thorough process and sites typically take about 3 months from kickoff to launch. That timeframe includes strategy, design, copywriting and development.
You do need your own domain name, but if you do not already have one we can facilitate this. We do offer hosting as part of our maintenance packages so you do not necessarily need to do this yourself.
Absolutely. All the websites we build are developed mobile-first and are responsive so they work on all devices.
Yes we do. We're happy to talk with you about your project.
A domain name is your address on the internet. Typically this would be something like: yourbusinessname.com.
Web hosting is a service that allows your website to be viewed on the Internet. Simply put, it’s a computer housed in a data centre that runs your website. Typically, we host sites through WPEngine which specializes in WordPress websites.
A Content Management System (CMS) is a tool that allows you to maintain the pages of your website yourself, without having to know how to code. A CMS allows you to edit and add pages, images, products or blog posts on your website. No additional software is required. You just need a web browser and an internet connection.
Our preferred CMS is WordPress. WordPress is the most popular open-source CMS in the world and has thousands of developers constantly improving it and contributing plugins to extend it’s functionality. We can also build HTML sites.
We do indeed. In addition to providing you with a customized training session, we also include a library of website training videos in your WP Admin panel that you can access 24/7.
At it’s core, SEO is about getting people to your website. The higher you rank on Google or other search engines, the more traffic (or potential customers) you are likely to get. There are many aspects that go into achieving good SEO. But the most important aspect is the content (words) on your website. When it comes to SEO “content is king”. Having well written, keyword appropriate and authentic content on your site is key. In addition to that, creating content on a regular basis is also important. The days of static websites are over.
